Answer is not 1 in 2

The probability is considered as a toughest concept of mathematics to understand. As, we can't relate this concept to a real world problems. As, the probability of raining today will be lying between 0 and 1 on any day. So, the probability will be lying between the maximum and minimum value. So, if probability of raining is 0.7, it can mean that there are more chances of raining today. But, this doesn't assure anything whether it will rain today or not. This is the reason of probability being tough concept to understand at a naive man's level. Today, I am here with puzzle of this out of the world concept of mathematics. You are here supposed to use the concept of Probability only. If you don't know about probability, do not worry. Try to solve it with the help of simple logic. Just twist the words given in the puzzle and reach to the answer.
Question:
There is a bag which contains one stone of unknown colour, either black or white. Now, you add a white stone into the bag. Now, shake the bag for a few moments and then take out one stone from the bag. The stone taken out turns out to be a white stone. Now, you are supposed to answer about the chances of the remaining stone being white. You have to answer, the probability of getting the remaining stone - white. The Mother Earth and Steel Band

Imagine the mother Earth as a sphere which is completely made with the help of iron and is having a stainless steel band around the equator line against the surface. Now, you are supposed to cut this steel band and one foot is added to this stainless steel band's length. Then again it is positioned against equator. Now, there will be some distance in between the equator and the band due to increase in length. You keep this band as it can be equidistant from the surface of this surface all the way around. (Still it is at the equator only.)
You just are supposed to answer the question: How much space would be there between this stainless steel band and the surface of the sphere? Will it be enough to slip a kerchief? Or will it be able to pass a pencil from between the surface and band? The question needs logic but also is using some concepts of geometry. You can reach to the answer, if you try to answer it with the help of doing some experiment of same kind on a smaller figure. Then continue this experiment with somewhat bigger figure and trace the correlation behind these two experiments to the sphere of size of the Earth.
You will reach to the answer.
Now, think that the sphere is not of the size of Earth, but it is having the size of the Sun. What will the distance between this stainless steel band and the surface of the Sun?

Diagonals on Chess board

Today the puzzle is about the famous game of Chess.
Chess is abbreviation given for "CHARIOTS HORSES ELEPHENTS SOLDIERS"
The game was basically invented in India first. Where it was called "Shatranj". This game is all about securing the King of your side and killing the opponent's. This game shows the exact philosophy of life: "Have faith in yourself. Even a mere pawn can be promoted to the Queen. The whole game is dependent on the survival of King. No matter how good your strategy is, if you can not secure your king. You are gone." The other philosophy says: " The more responsibility you have, the less power you achieve. ie, The King here can take steps of only length one."

Now coming to the technicalities of Chess Board, there are total 64 squares on the board. 32 Black and 32 white ones. All the squares are structured in a way that, no two black or no two white squares are side by side.

The puzzle says:
You are supposed to choose four squares. There are many ways possible to choose these squares. But from all those possible scenarios, what is the number of ways in which you can choose four squares such that, they all lie on the same diagonal.
The puzzle is quite famous one. This can be solved with the basics of probability theorems. So, try to solve on your own. There are many chances that you get the solution of this puzzle online. Next Letter

There is one more kind of logic puzzles. Which is asked for measuring the Intelligence Quotient. Which is known as IQ. Now, if I have to tell you about IQ, 80% of people on the Earth have an IQ between 60 to 120. 7% of the people have IQ between 120 and 130. While 10% lie below 60. IQ level above 130 is called an extraordinary intelligence. Einstein had an IQ level of 160 plus. Which is known as one of the highest IQ levels all over the world.

To build IQ levels and to test the same, you are supposed to solve as many logic puzzles as you can. I appreciate your interest in these puzzles and I am willing to take as many people as possible above IQ level of 130. If you are ready to increase your intelligence, I am here to help.

For testing your IQ level, I ask you three simple questions. And you are required to answer all these three puzzles with the help of your brain capacity. To maintain the truthfulness of this test, I recommend you to take this test within a time limit of two minutes.

The questions are:

1. What comes next in this sequence shown to you?

2. For how many times do the minute hand and hour end meet each other during one day?

3. "CICFIAP" is the word which is jumbled. By, putting all the letters at their correct place, you get a famous name. That name is whether 1) City 2) Ocean 3) Country 4) Animal . Only one option is correct. Try to find the answer.

If you answer all three correctly within two minutes, you have IQ level of above 140.

If you answer two of them correctly, you are sitting with an IQ level of above 120.

If you can answer only one of them correctly, you have an IQ level of above 100.

Solve on your own. And compare your results with your friends. You will be amazed to see their thought processes. I will come with the answers after certain amount of time. Colour of the Bear I see

A quite interesting puzzle I came across recently. This puzzle is only about logic. The puzzle is one of the shortest ones, I had come across recently. This puzzle is all about thinking out of the box. Some people argue on this area, that there need not be any box, then how can one think outside the box. This simply is a philosophical idea that, all normal people are able to think only what the question draws them to. But logic is all about seeing what normal people are unable to see. Logic is about seeing what is invisible. Try to see through the objects given in the question. Try to see beyond them. Because, if the answer was directly given in the question, then everyone could have solved it. Then there wouldn't have been much value given to that puzzle.

Enough of this theory, now coming back to the puzzle, we are going to see here is containing only two sentences given as premises. And, one question is asked. This question can be said, an Inference question. The premises are there. You just need to twist them more, to get to the answer. I have enough faith in you people that you will definitely reach to the answer, All the best.

Premises: I am in a room which has all its views in south. There is a bear I can see from my window.
Question: What is the colour of that Bear?

Simple question it is. No vague ideas are attached to it. The more you will twist the premises. The more logic you will find. Try to solve this puzzle on your own. Because there are enough chances that this puzzle is available on other websites too. So, just by looking for the same question somewhere and reaching to answer will not help you in a long term. Average Speed of Ali's trip

An easy puzzle to start your day with:

There was a salesman named, Ali. Who had to drive to city B to sell his products. Ali is currently at location A. He can drive at different speeds throughout the journey.

For, the first half of the distance of his journey, he decided to travel it with an average speed of 80 km/h. (km/h means kilometres per hour). In this half of the journey, he doesn't change his speed in between. Rather, the speed stays the same throughout the first half, which is equal to 80 km/h.
After, finishing the first half of the journey, he travels the next half of the trip with a constant speed of 120 km/h. Now, we have to find, the average speed of Ali, for the whole journey?

Now, if we also include the return journey from City B to City A. Where, Ali travels at the speed of 80 km/h throughout the journey. What can be said about his round trip average speed? Can we know exact round trip average speed of Ali or we need the distance parameter specified in the question to find the average speed?

An Easy One:
A salesman drives from A to B. The first half of the distance of his journey, he drives at constant speed of 80 km/h and the second half of his journey, he drives at a constant speed of 120 km/h. What is the salesman's average speed for the complete journey?

Bodmas and his students

Mr. Bodmas is the known maths wizard who was able to solve any number mysteries within a fraction of time. He was mainly known for his invention about the rules of calculation patterns. The rule itself is known as BODMAS rule. The full form of it is: BRACKETS OF DIVISION MULTIPLICATION ADDITION SUBTRACTION. The rule says that when we found all these things into a formula, from where to start the calculation. ie, we first solve the equation within the brackets. So, Brackets have the highest priority. Then in the descending order of priority comes, Division, Multiplication, Addition and Subtraction.

This wizard had three of his students who were grasping each and every concepts of numbers easily. He wanted to test their abilities. So, he handed each of them a sealed envelope with a number written inside. He told all of them that they each have a positive integer written inside the envelope.  And, the sum of all the integers is 14.

They each opened the envelope and inspected their numbers. The task for them was to find the numbers written on others' envelopes. To reach a conclusion these three students say:

The names of these three students are: Amit, Shashi and Rahul.

Amit says(after seeing his envelope) : "I know that Shashi and Rahul each have a different number."
Shashi says: "I already knew that all three of our numbers were different."

After listening to these two speak,
Instantly, Rahul says: "Now I know what all three of our numbers are."

How can Rahul know what the numbers of others are? And what are those numbers?
